Greetings to our generous community:

We have scheduled Madrone Trail Charter School’s Fourth Annual Auction for May 14th, 2011. This year’s auction will be held in the elegant Bigham Knoll ballroom and we are looking forward to another successful event. In light of the increased budget cuts affecting our unique school, we are looking forward to continued support from our Southern Oregon community in order to make this year’s event an even greater success. All of the proceeds from our annual fundraiser will go toward supporting Madrone Trail’s vision of offering its children a well-rounded education that balances their physical, emotional and intellectual growth.

Who is Madrone Trail?

Madrone Trail Public Charter School is the first K-8 charter school in the Rogue Valley, with 155 students enrolled this school year. We currently offer Kindergarten through 5th grade and have a goal of adding one grade each year until we reach Kindergarten through 8th grade (2013/2014). Our Waldorf-inspired curriculum is arts-integrated and academically rigorous, offering children a developmentally appropriate education with a highly successful and proven track record.

What is our goal?

The funds allotted to our school by the state of Oregon are less than those received by other schools within the Medford School District, as per our Charter Agreement. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fill the gap between what we receive from the state and what is required for our operating budget for the year. We typically raise 20% of our goal through contributions from our families, faculty and staff, and are seeking additional financial support from our generous Southern Oregon community.

By making a direct dollar contribution to our school.
